AREWA YOUTH CONGRESS OF NIGERIA PAY COURTESY VISIT TO THE NEW NATIONAL CHAIRMAN ENGR. (DR.) JANG C. TANKO,FNSE,FNICE ON WEDNESDAY JANUARY 27TH 2021 DECORATES HIM AS THE HASKEN MATASAN AREWA (LIGHT OF THE NORTHEN YOUTHS). It was a remarkable day at that National secretariat of the Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers NICE as members of Arewa Youth Congress paid a solidarity visit to the New National Chairman, Engr. (Dr.) Jang C. Tanko,FNSE,FNICE to congratulate him on his recent Investiture as the 17th National Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers, and also appreciate him for being a worthy ambassador of Northern Nigeria. Speaking during the visit, the president of the Group Alhaji Rilwan Musa Daura extolled National Chairman for his quality of character and achievement that have distinguished him for the position. He further encouraged him to make a mark in the sustenance and development of Civil Engineering profession In Nigeria. He also intimated the new National Chairman on some of the activities of the organization which includes the vanguard for societal transformation, development, productivity, social cohesion, unity, peace and the progress of the Arewa people devoid of their tribe, region and religion across the world. Earlier in his welcome Address the National Chairman, Engr. (Dr) Jang Tanko,FNSE,FNICE thanked AYC delegation for finding him worthy of the visit, he reiterate his unalloyed quest to transforming the institution to become a world renowned professional body that will be a pride for Civil Engineers in the Country. He also promised to continue to be a good ambassador of Northern Youth and Nigeria at large. The climax of the visit was the decoration of the National Chairman Engr.
