NICE Lagos Chapter hosted the National Chairman Engr. Dr. Jang C. Tanko, FNSE, FNICE to a Dinner at Sheraton Hotel Lagos on the 3rd of March, 2021 with a public lecture theme “ The Nigerian Civil Engineers and the way forward: Education, Development and Enterprise which was graciously delivered by Engr. Robbie James Owivry, FNSE,FNICE -Past National Chairman of the Institution. The dinner which attracted many notable and senior Civil Engineers across Lagos State including the Senior Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State on Works and Infrastructure Engr. Mrs. Aramide Adeyoye ,FNSE,FNICE, The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Olujimi Hotonu,FNSE FNICE, The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Ministry of Physical Planning, Engr. Mrs. Abiola Kosegbe, FNSE,FNICE , Permanent Secretary, Office of Drainage and Water Resources, Ministry of Enviroment, Engr. Nurudeen O. Shodeinde,FNSE,FNICE , Past National Chairmen, Senior Government officials , Directors and Captains of Industry. it was indeed a memorable night that afforded all the dignitaries in attendance the opportunity to network and brainstorm on the way forward for the Civil Engineers in Lagos and Nigerian at large.
